Borough and school-type qualification

All London boroughs are in scope; eligibility is confirmed at borough Director of Education level for state-funded primaries, secondaries and SEN settings.

Stacking with PSDS Phase 4

The Greener Schools Fund can be stacked with PSDS Phase 4 for the solar PV element of a bundled scope. Match-funding rules differ from PSDS; refer to the most recent Mayor's office guidance.

2025 award profile

The 2025 round funded a mix of rooftop solar arrays, biodiversity playground regeneration, and climate-curriculum CPD. Award sizes ranged from £25k to £250k per school.
