Major refurbishment lots commonly cover ASHP retrofit and fabric upgrade. New-build lots embed Passivhaus or near-Passivhaus standards in the design brief.

Contractor fee and overhead profile

Tier 1 contractors on DfE CF carry overhead-and-profit in the 8 to 12 per cent range on project cost; preliminaries are project-specific.
